Barre Instructor Training

at Anchor Barre

More than just group fitness classes.

“DO IT ! I was on the fence for so long about getting certified, and the only thing I regret is not doing it sooner. Not only are you bettering yourself by learning a new skill set, your certification will change the lives of every single person that takes your classes.”

Barre Instructor Training

Are you looking to become a barre instructor? Would you like to find a comprehensive, local training that gives you all the tools you need to be a safe, challenging and fun instructor for clients of all levels? During this 3-day workshop, you will learn how to safely and effectively create and lead a signature Anchor Barre class and Anchor Barre Blast class. Using our instructor manual, as well as a variety of individual and group activities, you will learn to craft a class that engages and challenges clients, while leaving them with a deeper sense of empowerment, accomplishment and inner calm. You will learn pertinent history (of barre, yoga and Pilates), anatomy and physiology, as well as musicality, teaching & cueing and hands on adjustments, including the art of our hands-on aromatherapy cool down. You will learn how to become confident in your instruction, so as to instill confidence in each and every client.

Anchor Barre is recognized by the National Academy of Sports Medicine AND the Athletics and Fitness Association of America as an Approved Continuing Education Provider. CEU’s for NASM and AFAA will be granted upon successful completion of the course.

For information on our next cohort, see above or email Melynda.

“What would I say to someone thinking about doing a training? Turn that thought into action! The best investment one will ever make is within themselves. The training can deepen your understanding and appreciation of barre itself, as well as prepare you to lead others.”
